Teaching my son to shake hands properly
Been working with my 8 year old on his handshake. Firm grip, eye contact, good posture. My dad taught me this way and I remember how it made me feel like a real man when I got it right. Took him to church last Sunday and he shook the pastor's hand like he meant it. Pastor even commented on it. These little things matter fellas. They set the foundation for how people perceive you.
This is great stuff. With three kids under 10, I'm always thinking about what little traditions stick with them. The handshake thing is solid because it's something they can actually practice and own.
