Teaching my son to shake hands properly
Had my boy's soccer coach comment the other day that he noticed my son gives a firm handshake. Made me proud as hell. Been working with him since he was about 7 to understand that a handshake is more than just touching hands. It's about respect, confidence, and showing the other person they matter. Anyone else teaching their kids this stuff? Feels like it's becoming a lost art.
That's awesome. I've been working on the same thing with my kids. A good handshake really does say something about a person. My co-parenting situation means I want them to show respect and confidence no matter which house they're at.
