Teaching my son to shake hands properly

Been working with my 8 year old on his handshake. Firm grip, eye contact, say your name clear. My old man taught me this way and I'm not letting it die with my generation. Took him to my work Christmas party last weekend and he shook hands with my boss like a young man should. Boss actually commented on it. That's the kind of thing that matters.
