Teaching my son to shake hands properly
Been working with my 8 year old on his handshake. Firm grip, eye contact, clear voice when he says his name. My dad taught me this way and I'll be damned if this generation grows up doing that weak fish handshake thing. Took him to church last Sunday and he shook the pastor's hand like a man. Made me proud as hell. Anyone else doing this with their kids?
Eight is the perfect age for this. My son is older now and I wish I'd hammered this stuff home more when he was that young. How's he responding to the practice?
