Teaching My Sons How to Shake a Man's Hand
Might sound old fashioned but a firm handshake means something. Been teaching my boys since they were little that how you greet someone says everything about your character. No dead fish hands, look the man in the eye, respect the grip. My oldest is 12 now and he does it right. Got compliments from his teachers about how respectful he comes across. It's the little things that matter. Your word, your handshake, how you treat folks who can't do anything for you. That's what makes a man.
I do this with my boys too. It's amazing how many kids nowadays don't even know how to give a proper handshake. You're doing them a huge favor teaching them early.
