My boys are growing up in a time where masculine values seem under attack. I'm trying to teach them that being a gentleman means being strong but kind, standing up for what's right, and treating women with respect. But it feels like everything I say gets second guessed. How do you pass on core values when the culture is changing so fast?

That balance you're talking about is everything. My boys are learning that strength isn't about being tough all the time, it's about standing up for what's right and treating people well. Sounds like you've got the right idea.
