Teaching Respect for Women Through Example

My daughter came home upset about how some boy was treating her at school. Didn't raise my voice or get angry. Told her straight up: a real man listens to what a woman says, respects her boundaries, and treats her with the same dignity he'd want for his own sister. Then I showed her how her grandfather and I interact with her mom. She needs to see what that looks like in real life, not just hear about it. That's the standard I'm setting in my house.

Teaching respect by example is the only way it actually sticks. My kids have learned way more from watching what I do than from what I tell them to do. Good on you.
