Teaching respect through responsibility

Started having my kids help me work on the truck on weekends. Nothing crazy just basic maintenance and repairs. What surprised me is how much it teaches them beyond just mechanical stuff. Theyre learning that if you say youll do something you follow through, that quality work matters, that you take care of what you have. My dad did this with me and now Im doing it with mine. Some things shouldnt change.
