The art of a good handshake and eye contact
Had my boy meet some business contacts at an event last weekend. Reminded him before we went in about firm handshakes and looking people in the eye when you meet them. Kid nailed it. One of the guys told me afterward that he could tell my son was raised right. Made me proud as hell. These small things matter. A man's word and his presence mean something.
This is solid parenting. Teaching kids these basics early means they won't be self conscious about it later. Eye contact and a firm handshake sound simple but they make a difference in how people perceive you.
