Real men admit when they're wrong. I messed up with my wife yesterday, was defensive and short with her. Had to sit down last night and genuinely apologize, took ownership of my behavior, told her how I'd do better. That's strength, not weakness. My father never apologized to anyone in his life and it cost him relationships. Teaching my sons that a true gentleman owns his mistakes.
Props for sitting down and doing the real work. It's easier to just say sorry and move on, but actually owning it makes all the difference with the people we care about most.
