The art of the apology - raising men who admit when they're wrong

My old man never apologized for anything. Said it was a sign of weakness. I spent years thinking that was strength until I realized I was just stubborn and alone. With my boys I'm doing different. Teaching them that real strength is admitting when you messed up, looking someone in the eye, and saying you were wrong. Then actually changing. It's harder than I thought because pride gets in the way. But my youngest actually apologized to his friend without being forced, unprompted, and meant it. That's the kind of man I want raising my grandkids someday. Real honor, not fake tough guy nonsense.
