Teaching my kids that how you greet someone matters. They need to look people in the eye, give a solid handshake, and say their name clearly. Doesn't matter if it's the church pastor or the mailman, you treat them with respect. My dad taught me this and it's opened doors my whole life. Small things like this are what separate boys from men.

This is gold. My oldest was nervous about meeting new people until we started practicing handshakes at home. Now he's the kid everyone remembers at school events.
