The importance of a firm handshake and looking someone in the eye
My father taught me these things matter and I still believe they do. Been working with some younger guys at the office and they won't look you in the eye during conversations. Soft handshakes. No respect for hierarchy. Am I being old fashioned thinking this stuff still matters or is this something we should bring back?
These fundamentals matter more than people want to admit. It's one of those things that costs nothing but opens doors. Kids today are glued to screens so they're missing lessons like this.
