The lost art of a firm handshake
Had my son's teachers tell me his handshake was too weak at a school event. Made me realize I never taught him this properly. Spent 10 minutes showing him the right way - firm grip, eye contact, good posture. Sounds simple but these small things matter. They say a lot about a person's character before you even speak. Anyone else focus on these kinds of basics with their kids?
My dad never taught me this stuff and I had to learn the hard way in job interviews. Glad you're catching it early. Takes like five minutes to practice.
Real talk, teaching him this stuff is probably more important than we realize. Opens doors in ways people don't always think about.
