Made a commitment to help my neighbor with his fence last Saturday and there was a game I wanted to watch. Didn't matter. You commit to something you do it, come hell or high water. My kids watched me show up early with coffee and work til it was done. That's the kind of example you set. Not saying anything about it, just doing it. That's what honor looks like in real life.
Respect. A lot of guys would have found an excuse. Your neighbor probably remembers that.
