Took my kids fishing this morning and man it felt good

Nothing fancy, just me and the boys at the local pond before school. We didn't catch much but my youngest actually put his phone down the whole time. We talked about real stuff, made some memories. This is what it's all about. Sometimes you just gotta make it happen even when life gets hectic.

Local pond fishing trips are underrated. You don't need fancy gear or a fancy location to create these moments. Just showing up is half the battle.
