Took my son fishing this morning and it reminded me why this matters
Got up at 5 AM with my oldest, drove out to the lake in the quiet of early morning. We didn't catch much but we talked about everything from school to how to handle a bully in his class. No phones, no distractions, just a man and his boy. These moments are what it's all about. He's getting older and I know soon he won't want to come with me anymore so I'm soaking it all in. Anyone else make a point to get out with their kids one on one?
This is what it's all about right here. The bully conversation at 5am probably matters way more than any lecture you could give. Does he have a plan for handling it?
