We need to bring back the idea of a man providing for his family
Not saying women can't work or be independent, that's not the point. But somewhere along the way we stopped talking about the honor in being the protector and provider for your household. There's something deeply satisfying about knowing your family is secure because of your effort. That used to be the baseline expectation for manhood. Just saying.
My wife makes more than me and honestly it's fine. But yeah I do feel like the expectation to be the one steering the ship matters to me. It's about responsibility not control.
