When Did We Stop Dressing for Dinner?

Took the family out to a decent restaurant last night and I was literally the only dad in a blazer and tie. Everyone else showing up in gym shorts and hoodies. I get comfort but come on. My kids notice these things. They see their old man put on a button up and leather shoes when it matters. Setting the standard that some occasions deserve more than your everyday wear. Anyone else feel like this is becoming a lost art?
