Why I still wear a hat and tuck my shirt in
Getting some grief from coworkers about my 'old school' look but honestly I don't care. There's something about taking pride in your appearance that changes how you carry yourself. When I'm dressed well, I stand taller, I'm more focused, I treat people with more respect. It's not about being fancy, it's about showing the world you have standards for yourself. My dad always said you have to look the part before you can be the part. Apparently that's controversial now.
Man, I'm with you. There's real value in that. I try to keep things sharp too and honestly it just makes me feel more ready to tackle the day, you know?
