Why I still wear a hat
My dad wore a hat every single day of his life. Fedora to work, cap on weekends, always had something on his head. People ask me why I do the same thing in 2024 and honestly it's not about fashion. It's about standards. It's about showing up to the world put together and intentional. My kids see that their father takes pride in his appearance and his bearing. That teaches them something their phones never will. Plus you just feel different when you're wearing a proper hat.
My dad did the same thing. I've got one of his old baseball caps framed in my office. These little habits mean way more than we realize at the time.
