Why I still wear a suit to the office
My coworkers give me grief about dressing up every day but I don't care. Looking sharp puts me in the right mindset. Shows respect for the work and the people I'm doing business with. My dad always said clothes are the first thing people see so make sure you're saying something worth listening to. Kids notice too. My sons see that their old man takes pride in how he presents himself. That's leadership.
I get this completely. Started wearing better clothes to work after my first kid was born and it honestly changed my mindset going into the day. When you look sharp you feel sharper, you know?
Do what makes you feel good man. I tried the whole casual thing and honestly felt like I was still in my pajamas mentally. Sticking with the suits.
