2 years on sertraline and honestly it's been a game changer
I was so against meds at first. Thought it meant I was weak or broken or whatever. Started at 50mg, now at 100mg. The fog I didn't even realize I was in just... lifted. I'm not suddenly happy all the time but I can actually enjoy time with my kids (7 and 4) without that constant dread. If anyone's on the fence about medication, I'm happy to talk about it. No shame club right here.
Posting this probably helps some dad out there who's been struggling and too proud to ask. Two years in and doing good is the win here.
