Anxiety about my oldest starting school

He's starting kindergarten in a couple weeks and I'm way more anxious about it than he is lol. Worried about him making friends, handling the teachers, eating lunch by himself, all of it. Know I'm being ridiculous but can't seem to turn it off. Anyone got tips for managing this without driving my wife crazy talking about it constantly?

It's tough but it gets easier. The first few weeks are the hardest because you're checking the clock constantly. Once you see them come out excited about what they learned, you'll feel way better.

The anxiety is totally normal. My kid just started kindergarten too and I was way more worried than he was. First day I picked him up and he was already talking about his new best friend. They adapt fast.

Kindergarten is big. I was the same way before my oldest went. He was fine and I was a mess. The teacher will take good care of him and honestly kids are way more resilient than we think. You got this.
