Anxiety attacks in the morning
Started getting panic attacks right when I wake up. My heart racing, feeling like something bad is about to happen, dread in my stomach. Then I have to get the kids ready for school and act like everything is fine. It's exhausting trying to hold it together when inside I'm falling apart. Started seeing a therapist but some mornings are still really hard. Anyone have coping strategies that actually work?
I started getting these a few years ago. Turned out it was a mix of stress and not enough sleep. You working nights or something? That can trigger them hard.
