Anxiety spiraling about my kids future
Anyone else get hit with these waves of anxiety about their kids' futures? Like I'll be fine one minute and then I'm thinking about college costs, job markets, climate change, and suddenly I'm catastrophizing everything. My therapist says I'm projecting my own fears but man it's hard to shut it off. Been trying to journal at night but some days that doesn't cut it.
This hits different when you've got kids. I had one of those spiral moments last month just thinking about what the world looks like in 15 years. What helps me is remembering that my kids are going to be more resilient than I think, because they'll have been raised by someone who actually worries about this stuff.
