Anyone else get intense anxiety before their kids' school events?
My 6yo has a school assembly tomorrow and I've been dreading it all week. Not sure if it's social anxiety or something about being around all the other parents. I end up scanning the room the whole time instead of watching my kid perform. Wife says I need to work through it but honestly I'm thinking of just skipping this one. Bad parenting move?
Pro tip: sit in the middle row, aisle seat. You can see the kids clearly without feeling on display. Also helps with the anxiety of being trapped in a chair.
