Dealing with postpartum anxiety as a dad

I've never experienced anxiety before but since my daughter was born 4 months ago I can't stop thinking something terrible is going to happen to her. I check on her constantly when she's sleeping, probably too much. My wife thinks I'm being paranoid but this doesn't feel normal. I'm exhausted from the constant worry. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there treatment that actually helps or is this just part of being a new dad?

That intrusive thought spiral is brutal, my friend. Three kids in and I still have those moments where my brain goes to the worst place. Have you tried talking to someone, like a therapist? It helped me realize my brain was just misfiring, not predicting the future.
