Depression hit me hard this winter

Used to think that was just a woman thing but here I am barely getting out of bed on weekends even though I have two kids who need me. I'm putting on a good face at work and with the family but inside I'm empty. Haven't told anyone except my doctor. Started on medication two weeks ago. Just wanted to say it out loud to people who might understand. If you're struggling too you're not alone.

Man, you're not alone in this. Winter hits different when you've got kids depending on you, and the guilt on top of it just makes it worse. Talked to my doctor about it last year and it actually helped. You deserve to feel better.
