Feel isolated even though I have a family

This is gonna sound weird but I feel lonely even with a wife and kids around. I don't have close friends anymore - life got busy and people just drifted. All my conversations are about logistics or kid stuff. Nobody asks how I'm actually doing. I miss having people to just hang out with without it being about being a dad or husband. Is this normal? How do you make friends as an adult when you've got zero free time?
