Feeling lonely even though I'm never alone

This probably sounds weird but I feel super isolated. I'm with my kids all day, my wife is great, but I don't have any close friends anymore. My buddies all kind of drifted away after I had kids and I stopped going out. I miss having someone to talk to about stuff that's not kids or work. Feel like I'm losing myself or something. Trying to figure out how to make new friends at 38 which feels impossible.
