Feeling pretty isolated lately even though I'm surrounded by people

I know this sounds weird but I feel lonely even though I've got a wife, kids, and coworkers around all day. Nobody really knows what's going on in my head. My buddies mostly just talk about sports and work and I can't seem to connect with people on a deeper level. Sometimes I feel like I'm just going through the motions. Does anyone else feel like this or is it just me being weird
