Finally admitted I need anger management help
I've been defensive about my temper for years. My therapist gently suggested I look into some anger management classes and honestly I was resistant. But after I yelled at my 3yo for asking me a question the wrong way, I realized I'm the problem. There's a group that meets Tuesday nights at the community center in Tacoma - gonna try it next week. If anyone else is dealing with this, you're not alone and it doesn't make you a bad dad.
I've been there. It's scary to admit you need help but honestly it's one of the best decisions I've made as a parent. My kids actually want to be around me more now instead of waiting for me to blow up over nothing.
