Finally started therapy and it's helping
Just wanted to post this because I know a lot of us guys don't talk about this stuff. I've been going to therapy for 3 months now and honestly it's been a game changer. I was dealing with depression that I didn't even fully acknowledge until I started talking it through. My therapist helped me realize I was putting way too much pressure on myself to be the perfect provider and perfect dad. Turns out that's not sustainable lol. If you're thinking about it, just do it. It's worth it.
Good on you for doing this, man. Seriously. A lot of us tough it out when we shouldn't. If therapy is helping then you're doing the right thing for your family too because your kids benefit from having a healthier dad.
