Finally started therapy and it's helping
Just wanted to post this for anyone on the fence about getting help. I've been dealing with depression for years and kept telling myself I could handle it on my own. Started seeing a therapist 2 months ago and I'm actually noticing a difference. I'm sleeping better, more patient with my kids, and that constant heavy feeling isn't as bad. My wife said she can see the difference too. It's not a magic fix but it's real progress. If you're thinking about it, just make the call.
Proud of you for taking that step, man. I put it off for way too long thinking I could just power through it, but therapy has been a game changer for my mental health too. Your kids are probably noticing the difference already.
