How do you take care of yourself when you have no time
Everyone says self-care is important but I literally don't know how to fit it in. Wake up, kids, work, kids, bedtime routine, collapse. Weekends are activities and errands. By the time the house is quiet I'm so tired I just scroll my phone. I'm not in crisis or anything but I'm running on fumes. Don't have family nearby for help. How do you guys actually practice self-care without feeling selfish or like you're neglecting your family?
This one is tough. I work overtime a lot and honestly my self-care is basically my morning coffee before everyone else wakes up. Twenty minutes of quiet before the chaos starts. It's not much but it's something.
The trick is making it non-negotiable like you're teaching your kids. Even if it's just thirty minutes on the weekend to do something for you. You can't pour from an empty cup.
