Loneliness even though I'm married
This might sound weird but I've never felt more alone. Have a wife, two kids, good job, but I feel like nobody really knows me. Can't talk to the guys at work about real stuff. My dad and I were never close so that's not an option. Even my wife doesn't get some of the stuff I'm dealing with internally. Anyone else experience this? Looking for advice on how to build actual meaningful connections.
I get this more than I want to admit. Having all the pieces that look like success on paper but still feeling hollow inside is rough. For me it helped to actually talk to someone, like a therapist. There's something about parenting that can isolate you even when you're surrounded by people.
