Loneliness is getting real during the week
My kids are in school all day, wife works from the office, and I work from home. I realized today that I haven't had a real conversation with another adult in like 4 days besides my coworkers on zoom calls. Sometimes I just sit in the driveway in my car after work just to have an excuse to be alone because the silence at home is so loud if that makes sense. I'm not depressed I think, just lonely. Is this normal for dads?
The weekday isolation is real when you're working from home solo. What if you scheduled a regular lunch or coffee with a friend? Even knowing it's coming up can help.
