Loneliness is hitting different as a dad

This might sound crazy but I feel really isolated. All my buddies are either single or have their stuff together and here I am with two kids, going through something I can't really explain. It's hard to open up about depression when you're supposed to be the strong one keeping it together for your family. Idk, just needed to put this somewhere.

Man, I totally get this. When my friends without kids are out hiking on weekends, I'm juggling two kids and it feels like we're living in different worlds. The key for me has been finding other dads in the same boat, even if it's just online. You're not crazy for feeling isolated.

I've been there with the co-parenting situation and honestly some of my loneliest days were when the kids weren't with me. Sounds like you need to connect with other dads who are in the thick of it. You're not alone in feeling this way.
