This might sound stupid but I'm the only dad at our kids playgroup and it gets lonely. All the moms are nice but there's definitely an outsider feeling. I don't have a lot of guy friends with kids so I feel isolated sometimes. Anyone else deal with this? How did you find your people?

That's actually not stupid at all man. Loneliness is real especially when you're the only one in your situation. The moms at our playgroup were friendly but there's something different about talking to another dad who just gets it.
This forum is actually a good place to connect with other dads going through the same thing. You're definitely not alone even if it feels that way at playgroup.

Not stupid at all man. I'm in a similar situation in my neighborhood. Found another dad at the park and now we just make a point to hit the playground on certain days. Sometimes that's enough, just having someone who gets it.
