Question: Does anyone use the Calm app?
Thinking about trying meditation or whatever but I'm skeptical. Does Calm actually help or is it just another thing I'll download, try once, then forget about? Also is it worth the subscription or are there free options that are just as good? TIA
I use Calm, honestly more for the sleep stories than meditation. The meditations are fine but I find myself doing the 10-minute ones right before bed which... probably defeats the purpose. If you want stress relief during the day, you gotta actually commit to using it.
Guy above is right - the app is almost irrelevant. I used Insight Timer for free for 6 months, then paid for Calm for 2 months and barely used it. Now I just use my headphones and a 10-minute YouTube meditation I like. The practice matters way more than the app.
