Self-care tips that actually work for dads?
I keep hearing I need to take care of my mental health and practice self-care but honestly I don't know what that means as a dad. Do I just go to the gym? Take a bath? I feel selfish taking time away from the family. What does self-care actually look like for you guys? What helps you feel more like yourself?
Real talk, self-care for me is knowing when to ask for help or when to say no to extra stuff. With three kids I learned quick that you can't pour from an empty cup. Sometimes saying no to something is the best thing you can do for yourself.
