Small win: made it through a whole week without snapping
Been working with my therapist on anger management (specifically not yelling at my kids when I'm frustrated) and I managed a whole week without losing my cool. Had moments where I felt it building but actually took a break, went to another room, took some deep breaths. It's dumb but I'm proud of it. Kids are happier too. Gonna keep going.
Getting frustrated is normal. The fact that you're working on it instead of just accepting it as 'how you are' is what matters. Your kids will remember that you tried.
