Started seeing a therapist and honestly it's helping

I was resistant at first because I thought I should just be able to handle my depression on my own. But I've been going for about 2 months now and my therapist has helped me see some patterns I couldn't see myself. I'm sleeping better, I'm more present with my kids, and I'm not feeling that constant heavy weight as much. I wish I'd done this sooner instead of just white-knuckling it for years. If you're on the fence about therapy I'd say just try it.
