Started therapy and I'm not sure if it's helping
I've been going for two months and honestly I'm not feeling much different. My therapist seems nice enough but sometimes I leave sessions feeling worse than when I went in because we're dredging up old stuff. I'm paying good money for this. Is this normal? Should I give it more time or find someone else? Part of me wants to quit because it's just adding to my stress right now.
Two months is still pretty early. Therapy isn't always a quick fix, but sometimes you have to try a few different therapists to find the right fit. If something feels off, it's worth exploring other options.
