Started therapy and it's actually helping
Was skeptical as hell but about 6 weeks in and I'm noticing real changes. My therapist helped me see that a lot of my stress comes from trying to be perfect and comparing myself to other dads. Turns out I'm not actually failing, I was just setting impossible standards. Getting better at identifying when I'm spiraling too. Still have bad days but way more good ones now. If you're thinking about it, just do it.
Went through the same thing and it completely changed how I handle the stress of work and parenting. Really proud of you for being open about it. That kind of honesty is what breaks the stigma.
