Started therapy last month and actually talking about stuff
I've been putting this off for like 5 years. Kept telling myself I didn't need it but my wife finally convinced me to go. First few sessions I didn't say much but last week something just clicked. My therapist asked me why I hold everything in and I just lost it in the best way possible. Still figuring this all out but it feels good to finally talk to someone who isn't family.
Good on you for actually doing it. A lot of us dads struggle to admit we need that kind of support. What made you finally take the step?
