Started therapy last month and I'm nervous to admit it helped

Spent years thinking I should just tough it out. Turns out my anxiety has been running the show and my therapist helped me see patterns I never noticed. It's not a magic fix but talking to someone neutral about stuff I can't tell my wife or friends has been huge. Still feels weird saying I go to therapy but I'm sticking with it. If anyone's on the fence about it, just try a session or two.

Hey, real talk - therapy changed my life. I was the same way, thought I just needed to man up about everything. Turns out my anxiety was making me a worse dad, not better. Proud of you for sticking with it.
That's huge. Yeah the whole tough it out thing is so ingrained in us but it doesn't work. How long did it take before you started noticing real changes?
