Taking a mental health day tomorrow and I'm not even sick
Work has been crushing me lately. The stress of deadlines and dealing with my boss and everything just piling up. I haven't taken a real day off in months where I just stopped and breathed. Tomorrow I'm calling out and I'm gonna take the kids to the park, maybe just chill at home, whatever feels right. Told my wife and she's supportive which helps. Taking care of myself isn't selfish right?
Don't even feel guilty about it. If your boss is crushing you, that's a signal something needs to change. Use the day to think about what that might be.
