The anxiety of having a newborn is real
My wife had our second kid 3 weeks ago and I'm not sleeping. Not because of the baby but because I'm constantly worried something is wrong with her. Is she breathing right? Is that sound normal? I've checked on her like 47 times tonight. My wife says I need to chill but I can't turn it off. Thinking about talking to my doctor about this because it's affecting my work and everything else.
The anxiety with a newborn is totally legit and doesn't get talked about enough. That constant low-level stress is exhausting. Make sure you're not trying to handle this alone.
